-Give me the courage to love with an open heart An open heart. I wanna love with an open heart.~India.Aire
We spent a chilly Saturday at a local park and find a sweet grove of pine trees. I confess, it felt good to in the midst of pines again. You see, I grew up in the Piney Woods and finding the grove (at the bottom) was beautiful surprise and reminder of home.
Lately, I have been counting my blessing. A day in the pines is definitely on my list. As is- making awesome amazing food with B., catching up with some friends, sunshine, apple sausage, earl gray tea on lazy afternoons and loads of books to read from the library{best public place, ever!}. What's on your gratitude list lately?
* Love this article on gratitude.
*Current favorite pose:legs against the wall. Perfect for centering on busy days.
Have a sweet week,

I love that quote. And I'm so happy to hear you have so many things on your gratitude list. Me too, lately. New romance, new year ahead, and new adventures in blogging... Life has been looking up these days :) XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteI think I need to get out more and explore. Somewhere remote, not the middle of the city I live in, but somewhere where the trees outnumber the people. But I am grateful I live where I do, and that there's a warm cat cuddling up next to me right now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful grove! And I agree with you, the library is THE best public place ever, hands down. I'm grateful for real books with real pages...not screens. And I'm grateful for the ability to enjoy said books.
ReplyDeleteOh lovely, I just love pine trees! What a sweet gratitude list :) I definitely agree with you about Earl Grey tea, sunshine and books.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. And I swear if you hadn't told me that it was December when you took them, I'd never know that it was winter looking at them.
