I recently finished Priscilla Warner's Learning to Breathe: My yearlong quest to bring calm to my life.
I read the book in about 3 or 4 days. I was in the midst of reestablishing my own meditation practice, so this book was very inspirational.
The book details Warner's quest for calm. Meditation, therapy and spirituality play a large role in her quest. These subjects could weigh the book down but don't. This book is not dry or guru-like. In fact, it is very funny and humane. Her style is sorta Anne Lamont meets Elizabeth Gilbert.
I would recommend this book, if you need some spiritual/mental uplift. It is pretty small and will inspire you to take to your meditation cushion.
