i grew up in a no animals in the house
actually, that is a lie
we didn't have any companion animals until i was 14 or 15
so, it was just a mute issue

our first pet was a dog. named max.
max was a yellowish stray with a big heart and wagging tale.
then came the cats- stinky orange and stewy.

not the most original or creative names but they worked
anyway, by the time i rescued stewy from the clutches of some wayfaring kids
we were a cats in the house family

then i went to college and doted on many kitties
but it was only last year that i got my own kitties
the a-p sisters. {naturally, our cats have hyphenated last names}.

i try not to just be a crazy cat lady but
i might be.
