project life

hobbies are good for all seasons
but winter especially seems to be accommodating to them
i'm doing project life this year.

to be honest, i've not done anything remotely like this
since my time in yearbook but it's like riding a bike.
once you know, you know

one thing that i am noticing is that it is jogging my memory
for mundane but really good moments
moments that provide the fiber of this life

things like walks, dinners with friends ,
or simple evening at home resurface
routes that we like to take
and spaces that make up the heartbeat of our life
return to me like kindling
it is as if what if think i am looking for is under my nose.

how do you keep memories?

p.s. no, i do not have a secret child. that baby is not mine. she's my niece.

  1. This project takes some serious dedication! I can barely write one line a day in my journal!

  7. i think any way you do it is fine. i am not a great drawer so i tend to shy away from that avenue. also, just a blog and/or a journal are amazing ways to keep memories.

  8. blogging is such a marker. i can tell so much about my life depending on the blog post i write.

  9. Currently, blogging is the way that I keep hold of the memories. But I'd like to make a visual keepsake of pictures, I haven't done that in ages!

Has it really been THAT long since I've visited your blog?! Shame on me! I've missed you, Keishua! XOXO
