small pleasures: cherries





right now, we are in a strange winter/spring/summer thing
i guess the west coast is not
as, cherries from there are appearing at the grocery
they are best with a bit of pineapple {in my opinion}

i've felt a bit off lately
the cherries have been something to sing about

it's been awhile


it's been awhile
since i was last here

to be honest
life has gotten beautifully complicated
in these parts

i find it hard to talk about thing without talking about them {more to be revealed, soon}
all i know is that things are slowly getting back to
"normal"

for that i am grateful

i hope you are well and that i will be frequent this space{and your space} more often

April Intentions


A few months ago, I worked with a health coach {via work} to build in more relaxation and play in my daily routine.
I had two simple goals for that month:  to do yoga once a week {for 60 to 90 minutes} and to read for 15 minutes a day. So much fun and such a breeze to make time for. The coaching ended and I moved on.
I thought that after a month or so practice  that I would be able to keep up these simple practices. Turns out it has not been as easy as pie.

So, I am setting intentions this April.  Well, three to be exact.
1. Exercise daily. Either practice yoga and or/walk each day.
2. Finish 1 knitting project. I have so many projects going that I need closure on at least one this month.
3. Plant something. We have sown a few seeds in a regenerator but we have tons to put in the dirt.
